Choose hand or machine applique techniques to create one of these birds as a free object. Kathy will teach you how to make those fussy points easy. Your beautiful bird will be ready to applique to the background that you create at home. "Bring your unique vision to some of natures most beautiful birds". Chapter Hosting Requirements
HOST CHAPTER WILL:
• Select the class to host from the teacher’s listing.
• Secure a location/facility for the class and provide the Q.U.I.L.T. Director with that information as soon as possible.
• Provide adequate seating arrangements and tables for twenty students per class and teacher.
• Provide table(s) for teacher to sell any related merchandise.
• Provide any equipment requested by the teacher (example: AV equipment, easel/whiteboard and markers).
• Provide nametags for students at Chapter expense. List of registered students will be provided by the Q.U.I.L.T. Director in
coordination with the AQG office.
• Check in students upon arrival according to list provided by the Q.U.I.L.T. Director in conjunction with the AQG office and report
any changes. Any students not on list must pay class fee upon entry ($35 member, $70 non-member). Transmit funds and
student names to Q.U.I.L.T. Director.
Collect any kit/materials fees from individual students and give to teacher as a lump sum.
Provide a contact person to work in conjunction with the Q.U.I.L.T. Director who will be onsite during the class. Contact information must be provided to the Q.U.I.L.T. Director (example: cell phone number).
• Provide cold water and lunch for the teacher at Chapter expense. Check with Q.U.I.L.T. Director about dietary restrictions or preferences.
(Example: vegetarian) If a driver is involved, Chapter must provide same for driver.
• All attendees, including AQG Board members and contact person from Host Chapter, must register and pay to attend the class.
• Assist Q.U.I.L.T. Director in identifying lodging arrangements (if needed).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR HOSTING CHAPTERS:
No contact with the teachers is to be made by any Host Chapter member. This is the responsibility of the Q.U.I.L.T. Director. If you have questions, please contact the Q.U.I.L.T. Director.
